Relation Between Tinnitus and Sinusitis

Studies carried out by different authorized sources reveal that every year a staggering forty million people suffer with sinusitis. Studies also reveal that more than 20% of them are actually people who are allergic to different chemicals.

Common symptoms of sinusitis are: difficulty in breathing through nose, itching in the nose, discharge of water from eyes and nose, itching in the eyes and allergic rhinitis. It is a fact that sinusitis is directly related to different kind of allergies and tinnitus.

Tinnitus is caused due to deposition of wax in the ear canal or over exposure to loud noises. Allergies are basically over sensitivity towards certain chemicals or substances. Our middle ear is surrounded by mucus membranes. These mucus membranes help in clearing the middle ear. Mucus flows out of the middle ear through the Eustachian tube to reach into throat. The medications used to treat sinusitis symptoms are generally antibiotics or anti histamines.
